A Revolution in Dust Control - Soiltac

A scientifically proven formula keeps Soilworks’ flagship product in the lead of dust control products available today.

The success of Soiltac begins at the molecular level, where structures link and cross-link to form a durable and water resistant bond.

Soilworks engineers used recent advances in simulation, chemistry, processing techniques and analytical instrumentation to create Soiltac, a revolutionary copolymer product that serves to control dust, erosion and stabilize soil.

When Soiltac is applied to the soil, the copolymer molecules coalesce and form bonds between the soil and aggregate particles. Long nanoparticle molecular structures link and cross-link together forming a flexible solid-mass that is durable and water resistant.

This innovative product is completely eco-safe, biodegradable, water resistant, ultraviolet ray resistant, non-flammable and is safe for humans, animals, vegetation and marine life.

Soiltac can be applied to the landscape to build a surface crust or mixed into the soil to build a temporary road or three-dimensional surface cap. The results of Soiltac are based on customized application rates.

A light surface crust that is permeable by both air and water and used for temporary dust control needs for several weeks or months, uses only a modest application.

For areas that call for more severe dust control solutions or to build temporary roads, a heavier application of Soiltac will generate a cement-like yet flexible crust that can remain in place for up to several years.

After application, Soiltac becomes transparent and leaves the natural landscape appearing untouched.

Soiltac is continuously evaluated and its performance verified by the U.S. Army Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC).  Its consistent high potency formulation and dependable field performance has led to numerous ongoing contracts with the U.S. Dept. of Defense, solving their training and operational theater challenges worldwide.
