A Closer Look at Durasoil, Its Uses and Industry Applications

In the past, dust suppressants have been used in attempts to address complications arising from fugitive dust and suspended particulates. However, many of these dust suppressants have lacked durability, negatively impacted the environment or have only provided short-term effectiveness.

Engineered for today’s most challenging and intense dust control conditions, Durasoil has been formulated using gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology. In the GTL process, natural gas is converted into a high-quality liquid product that makes Durasoil crystal clear, odorless and formulated to meet the highest standards of environmental efficacy.

To address these issues, Soilworks has created Durasoil, an innovative and effective dust suppressant that is environmentally friendly and provides quality performance for extended periods of time with its unique, self-healing and reworkable properties.

What is Durasoil?

Receiving its second U.S. patent, Durasoil is a revolutionary, state-of the-art dust suppression solution that produces the purest, greenest synthetic dust suppression fluid that remains active for long-term projects.

The result is a safe, non-toxic composition that is capable of reducing airborne and suspended particulate matter for long periods of time.

How Does It Work?

Created with non-petroleum properties, Durasoil is hydraulically sprayed over surfaces with any equipment that is capable of spraying water. As it penetrates the soil, Durasoil coats, wets and agglomerates fine soil particles together, resulting in a reworkable, dust-free layer of soil that is engineered to withstand the most extreme weather and environmental conditions.

After application, the treated area is ready for use and doesn't require a cure time. Even under intense-use conditions, Durasoil’s unique, self-healing and reworkable properties remain effective for long-term performance.

How Can Durasoil Help Me?

Everyday, Soilworks and Durasoil help to solve the dust suppression challenges of major industries in construction, mining, oil and gas, energy, and transportation. Durasoil can be used to control dust and other particulates in industrial, agricultural and manufacturing facilities and on existing roads, trails, parking lots and other landscaping features.

In addition, Soilworks has extensive experience keeping branches of the U.S Department of Defense, United Nations and Allied Forces safe with Durasoil. All over the world, Durasoil is applied to helicopter landing pads and military bases to prevent brownouts and reduce sand ejecta.
